We’re proud to welcome Ashley Anderson as the new Spark Entrepreneur Training Program Assistant!

Ashley is a true South Georgia girl, raised in Meigs, and deeply rooted in the same soil as the community we serve. She doesn’t just know our people—she is our people. And she brings a passion, purpose, and presence that speaks volumes.

Ashley Anderson, Spark’s new Entrepreneur Training Program Assistant, bringing creativity and community insight to empower future business leaders.

Her journey? Let’s just say it’s one many of us can feel in our bones.

Ashley was on the path to becoming a nurse at Valdosta State University when life tapped her on the shoulder with something new. A mentor introduced her to the world of marketing and creativity—and something clicked. A fire was lit!

“I felt pulled—like something was guiding me. Marketing just made sense. Creative ideas came naturally, instantly. It felt like I had found my thing,” Ashley recalls.

Have you ever had that moment? That inner voice saying, “This is it”? That’s the same courage and calling we see in every Spark entrepreneur.

Ashley sees that same light in our donors and entrepreneurs.

“I love when people go after their dreams. Starting a business is a bold step—it’s faith in action. Entrepreneurs are fearless,” she says.

And while many think you have to have a big budget or big name to get real marketing support, Ashley knows better.

“Every brand you love has a beginning. Somebody believed in a small idea and kept showing up. That same story, it can be yours.”

Ashley believes that with vision, resources, and support (which Spark is all about), our entrepreneurs can grow into exactly what they dream of being.

Her approach is grounded and powerful:“I speak only after I have truly listened.”

Imagine having someone who hears your heart, understands your hustle, and helps you tell your story so your people can find you. That’s what Ashley brings to Spark—and to you.

So if you see her around, don’t be shy. Give her that warm, soulful Spark welcome—just like we do in the South.
