We’re launching a $60,000 end-of-year campaign to position Spark

Thomasville for our strongest year yet—and we need your help.

Maria is a childcare provider in Thomasville who’s been caring for neighborhood kids in her living room for three years. She’s brilliant at what she does. Parents trust her. Kids love her. But she doesn’t have a business license. Or a bank account. Or any idea of how to get either.

Without this campaign, her dream of opening a licensed childcare center stays stuck in “someday.”

Here’s the exciting news: we’ve already secured a $20,000 grant toward this goal. That means we’re one-third of the way there. But we need to raise the remaining $40,000 by December 31st.

With your help we can:

• Launch 2026’s first cohorts (construction, childcare, food businesses)

• Provide micro-loans for entrepreneurs’ first inventory

• Offer scholarships for our 12-week training program
